I reached pt 888526 - only 200m from summit, but turned back by awful conditions.IanHHill23/09/2017
3/5. From high point of Maum Bridge to Maum Cross road. Maum Turks range to Leenane. Cloud down to 250m all day, so a severe test of map and compass skills. Final quarter easier as you can follow the fences. 12 hours.PGCE23/05/2017
An interesting instruments only walk in mist and rain. Best done using a compass and dead reckoning for maximum challenge.Gill05/09/2014
