Beautiful day in County Clare. Really enjoyable walk which is marked all the way to the top from the carpark in Ballycuggaran Woods. The boggy bit is now covered in stone and the last bit is a boardwalk. Really lovely vista and that was without the sun.Audi-Anne19/03/2016
From the Forest car park with GB. The path at the side of the firebreak is now gravel and makes for an easy ascent. N.W summit is highest but visited S.E point and the stone with the plaque. Great weather.bolton11/09/2014
Top car park at Ballycuggaran (R68632 75975) - From top of car park followed waymarked paths & forest tracks to start of firebreak at R66137 75499 - Followed good stony track up firebreak and continued up zigzag track to plateau - Did SE Top & then to the slightly higher unmarked summit of the NW Top. From lake to summit via East Clare way. Cloudy, humid weather all the way. Warm and boggy.Roen18/08/2011
Up from car park near Loch. You could ring my boots out after this. Strange sunnit furniture too. Good view of Loughnickywood112/05/2011
2nd half of ascent from Feenlea was grim. Mud track turned to porridge. Twins inseperable with Abney.jimbloomer20/09/2010
Started at car park in Ballycuggman Forest R686760 and followed the South Clare Way up to its high point. Where it begins to descend I took a forest ride on the right and at its end again took a right turn up a worn muddy path to Moylussa Top (R648759) maHarry Goodman12/07/2008
dullish dryish tussock/heather summit, big views. from S, park at Aillemore, a bit GOML & prob not best choice except maybe for Cragnamurragh RHW29/04/2005
Not so nice hill race, loads of very fast forest track with a short steep stretch of almost knee deep mud beside a forest. Good views from the top.PN_Runner15/06/2003
