Parked by bridge at Aber falls.2 all day. Walked up road to top car park then straight up Foel Dduarth. Steep going on scree & through gorse but great view of whole valley and snow covered tops on gaining the ridge.Then stroll down to col and upto summit of Foel-ganol. On to Yr Orsedd,Carnedd y Ddelw.Drum, out & back to Pen y Castell,Foel-Fras,Carnedd Gwenllian,over Yr Aryg,Bera Mawr & Bera Bach then descending to Aber falls. Great views all daymart079716/04/2016

STARTED A 2 DAY EXPEDITION THROUGH THE CARNEDDAU AT THE CAR PARK AT THE END OF THE ABER FALLS ROAD AND FOLLOWED THE EASY TRACK UP OVER CARNEDD Y DDELW TO DRUM. LEFT PACK WITH JOYCE AND WENT OUT AND BACK TO PEN Y CASTELL ON GOOD PATH. CONTINUED ON TRACK TO FOEL FRAS AND DID THE SAME WITH LLWYTMOR. VERY STRONG WIND ON THE RIDGE. Tal y Fan - Foel Lwyd - Carnedd y Ddelw - Drum - Pen y Castell. Had to crawl onto the summit as the wind was so strong. Descended in darkness to a warm fire and beer at the pub in Rowen. Better than Xmas shopping which is what my wife was doing!Herbert Anchovy12/12/2011
