With Fiachna. Started Rostrevor, first half of ascent on road, quickly gaining height and views. Second half more scenic, via the Cloch Mor and 'Kodak Corner' on the walkers path amongst the many bike tracks. Quick diversion up Sliabh Min to play tunes overlooking the expansive view over Carlingford Lough and the Cooleys. Path before summit to Sliabh Martain not finished but looks like its being worked on. More grand views from trig point. Quick descent down zig zagging path and back same way along the road to Rostrevor for soup and shloop. | RufusHodge | 04/06/2023 |

From Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor, roads to upper car park, then track that goes initially left from the far end of upper car park then zigzags up through trees to near summit | kdbennett | 26/12/2016 |
An easy ascent made difficult by missing short path to summit. Geoff 2I0NON & I qualified for SOTA on 145-fm. We also did Knockchree & Black Mountain (Clermont Carn) in Irish Republic. | G4OOE | 03/09/2016 |

I stayed at a B&b in Rostrevor and climbed up through the forest, it was really atmospheric with mist rising through the trees. The sun came out at the top. There is an Erratic boulder at the top and you pass an area where there is a music festival every year. | Dazingdale | 17/01/2008 |
