first ascent, 2 in party, hot and sunny, 9.69 miles. parked at the back of glenveagh NP, went through the gate and climbed directly up the hill to the summit across a large flat area with a couple of lochans. Descended to glen lack, crossed a stream and up to the summit, which had a cairn, good views to Muckish. returned to glenlack, picked up the track to glenveagh then the path back up to the small parking space. | rum doodle | 19/06/2010 |
