| first ascent, 2 in party, sunny but cool. 10.7km parked past a small farm & followed the lane way through a gate, took a left - not on the map and followed a boggy track with fallen trees. exited the forest to a col, turned left and climbed to croaghmeens summit, returned to col and climbed to the ring contour summit of croaghameal, then trig point, descended via river, across a couple of fences and back onto the forest tracks. | rum doodle | 03/05/2010 |
