2nd ascent, 10 years after my 1st and 4th top of 12 on a 28km circular from Llanarmon D.C, continuing after Pen-yr-eryr heading West on increasingly difficult ground. Finally reached fenceline and followed it up to the fence post at the summit, crossing over to the concessionary path. I was pretty tired at this point and I needed to reast but it was fairly cold so i continued North heading to Cadair Bronwen...Dazingdale09/03/2024

Llandrillo circular route to memorial, cadair bronwen, cadair berwyn and back. Very boggy and frozen - good way to lose a boot and get frostbite!Iam_JoshEdwards16/01/2021

Parking space for a few cars at SJ 118 306. Round of Mynydd Tarw, Foel Wen, Cadair Bronwen, Moel yr Henfaes, Cadair Berwyn, Moel Sych, Post Gwyn, Moel Poethion, Godor. Descended through fields to track at SJ 110 302. Couple of farmers by the sheepfold didn't seem unduly concerned by our presence.Geoff Briggs01/09/2019

From a wild camp on Bronwen, an easy start to the rough walk to Moel Fferna. Very hot weather forecast so set off at 530am and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise en route.Jake99405/05/2018

10 hill circuit based around Cadiar Bronwen. Start and finish on a forestry track not far from Cynwyd. Fantastic, sunny Saturday with hardly anyone on the hills.BobHancock22/04/2017
Solo walk during a weekend trip to Llangollen for a friend's Birthday. Tyn-y-ffridd - Godor - along Nuttalls to Cadair Berwyn - north as far as Moel yr Henfaes - back to Cadair Bronwen - over Tomle ridge - back to Tyn-y-ffridd. Amazing weather with a cloud inversion.AGWilliamson17/12/2016

Ty'n-y-parc to Bwlch Llandrillo pass to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo to Cadair Bronwen. Return to Ty'n-y-parc to complete circuit. Walked solo, time 5 hours. Sunny weather, but hazy. Saw no-one all day except motor-cross riders on Bwlch Llandrillo, despite being a Sunday. Beautiful easy walk in some really wild country. Hard going along the watershed path with bogs, heather (in places) and slushy melting snow obliterating the path. Great day though!jamessteel10013/03/2016

My first hill of the day on a North to South traverse of the Berwyn ridge from Llandrillo to Llangynog using the track out of Llandrillo and turning South at the memorial stone on the concessionary path. It is worthwhile straying from the path as there are great views on the Eastern side as the ground steepens considerably. The wind was getting quite strong on this exposed section of the route. The views looking back or North in my case are very pleasing.Dazingdale05/05/2014

With Minnie from Llandrillo up the easy track to the col then onto Moel yr Henfaes then to Cadair Bronwen a good freeze made the going less boggy, a little snow on top, the 3000footers look to have a good covering, sunny & cold. Back to Llandrillo on track across Moel Pearce.apricorum29/11/2012
