Logged Descriptions  (logged by 142 users)ByDate of Ascent
From CP at end of Glen Etive road, up track, crossed Allt a'Bhiorain just below new dam then W and NW following rough forest rides onto open country. Wet, tussocky pathless ground over to Stob Gaibhre and over to Beinn Sgulaird N and main tops. Descended steeply E and SE over very rough ground then E back to bridge at NN08071 46539, N to lochans then E and followed the southern boundary of the forestry back to car park. Very slow going throughout, would have been slightly better returning via outward route.TRG31817/04/2024
Parking near Druimavuic - Druim a' Vuic (should probably be spelt Bhuic) - Beinn Sgulaird S Top - Meall Garbh - Beinn Sgulaird - Beinn Sgulaird N Top - Beinn Sgulaird - traversed round SE sides of Meall Garbh and S Top - dropped down from 450m col to track by Allt Buidhe: 9.5 miles, 1250m ascent, 6h 15m.Mark Jackson24/07/2023
From layby at Druimavuic, estate track E towards Coire Buidhe, then path up NE ridge to Druim a' Vuic, continuing up to Beinn Sgulaird South top and along to Meall Garbh, Beinn Sgulaird and Beinn Sgulaird North top. Returning the same way. Hot sunny day.richard6929/05/2022

Parked at Druimavuic for a circuit of 6 Simms. 4/6PGCE29/06/2021
From Druimavuic, past rhododendrons blooming in the gardens bordering the track, turning onto the S ridge of Beinn Sgulaird at the cairn, detouring from the path to Druim a'Vuic, over BS South Top, Meall Garbh , BS and BS North Top. Superb views over lochs Creran and Etive and into the Central Highlands from the North Top. On return, I cut down after Meall Garbh to pick up the start of the track leading to Druimavuic. This took a fair amount of weaving around to avoid crags and steep grass, so keeping to the path on the return is probably preferable.Nick Down115/05/2021

Climbed this on a thoroughly miserable day, cloud from ground level to the tops. I'm sure it's lovely, but in that weather it was just grim :-)Cap_Thunderbolt08/09/2012
