Walked from the CP by the gate on Three Hollows Road in an anticlockwise circuit of the three Slieve Beagh summits. The undulating landscape is quite disorientating, with the various lochans providing the most reliable reference points. Having found the first summit, the other two were clearly identifiable and, fortunately, so was the return route. | Nick Down1 | 13/07/2018 |
fa, with wife, showers and windy, climbed from barratitoppy and parked by gates, then over eshbrack, pt 365, to slieve beagh east top by lough sallagh, took in further two tops, one proving to be higher than slieve beaghs actual summit, descended from doocarn, pt 365, eshbrack and back. drove to carrighluke and climbed it from its carpark to its trig point, some kids in cars here, looked a bit suspicious. | rum doodle | 25/10/2009 |
