From there a super ridge up to Mynydd Pencoed then across to main Cadair ridge. Picked up Foel Ddu on way back which is nice top, but ground made rough by cattle on first half of climb up. From LyP via Foel Ddu. Dont repeat my mistake.
The section from Foel Ddu to the track was vile and pathless most of the way.
From the track there is a quadbike track all the way up Myn. Pencoed which was as well because the cloud was down to around 500m.
Just down from the summit I found a couple who thought they were on the Pony Path. Escorted them back.descent via clear paths and tracks from Pony path junction back to chapel at Pennant. | stig_nest | 26/09/2018 |

Parked at Ty Nant and up the Pony Path to Cadair Idris then down to Mynydd Gwerngraig, back up Cadair and across to Mynydd Pencoed, back towards Cadair which I skirted before descending the way I came up. 11.7 miles in about 5h 30m. These were the last two Welsh Bridges which explains the peculiar route. | clivevilla | 01/11/2017 |
