Very limited parking at the top of the minor road to the NE as the small car park there is closed and bouldered off until March 2024 due to tree felling. The PROW however all remain open. Followed the track and trod to the trig. No views. Solo. Interestingly Wentworth Forest is Wales' largest ancient woodland. | richard69 | 27/11/2023 |
Easy short walk from roadside car park to trig point, tucked away in bushes off the main path. No views | Cumbriancyclist | 21/10/2023 |
Walked up from Cadeira Beeches car park, easy approach, relatively overgrown but easy enough path to follow, tapped the trig and went to grid ref. in comments, no view whatsoever just head height ferns and brambles, took in a fair bit of Wentwood Forest to make it worth the trip, definitely better views to be found elsewhere in Wentwood but bagged it nonetheless | lboutside | 28/08/2023 |

From free car park at Cadira Beeches. There is another free car park at top of minor road just east of summit if you want a shorter walk. | KeithByTheC | 08/10/2021 |
Parked at Little Oak car park south of summit as we wanted to actually ascend the hill. We walked up a path we thought ran parellel to the road but eventhough it started good turned into the path from hell as it completely disappeared into almost jungle-like undergrowth conditions. We only just about made it through to a little trail leading to the summit trig. For obvious reasons we followed ridge to the higher car park and followed the road back to car. No views from the top as lots of small trees and bushes are blocking the way. 5 of 5 Marilyns today. That morning we bagged Mynydd Y Glyn, Cefn Eglwysilan, Garth Hill and Craig Yr Allt. Grey/murky weather. 45m ascent. | DanTrig | 05/09/2021 |
