From car park to SW by Hepburn Rocks, easy stroll up the road and through heather to the summit. Clear views in all directions | Rockdoctor | 10/04/2023 |
Solo. From road to the south up path to trig and over the wall to the high point. Biggest obstacle was the state of the single track road from North Charlton on the A1. After the descent I continued westwards on the road which is a much shorter stretch of single track before double track is reached; it's in better condition too. | pwbellarby | 01/04/2023 |

On a long walk from Harehope Hall via Old Bewick. Steep climb up the main path, then foolishly went a bit off piste to the SE on the way back down, which made for tougher walking through heather. Headed north over Willie Law to visit the little-known Whinney Hill stone circle, then a long walk to Wooler against the bus timetable. | thesweetcheat | 20/10/2021 |

Morning Bag before it got to Hot. Verge Parking near the 257 Spot Height. Bagged the trig and Viewfinder which was handy for climbing the wall to the true summit in the heather and bilberry. Headed off to Bamburgh Castle and a day on the beach | Jephcote83 | 16/07/2021 |
With Val. Hot and sunny. Parked in the forestry car park and walked up the road then a good footpath to the TP. Srossed the wall to the highest point. Down same route. | mike.hoult | 28/06/2021 |

Parked on the minor road between Chillingham and North Charlton to start this easy route up to top of Ros Castle. I had estimated 10 minutes each way and was pretty close. The route up was fairly dry despite recent wet weather and the wind made it feel a lot colder. | JamesJones | 09/03/2021 |
From the road to S. Easy parking on verge. A number of paths to the top. | JohnR | 12/01/2021 |

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log:

Parked in forestry car park at the bottom of the road, should have parked on the road near the path to the summit as would have saved us the journey up the road and the path to the summit is better than the one following the wall. However if we had we would have missed out on my return journey through the forest and around Hepburn crags. Didn't know this was a Marilyn, so didn't climb the wall to the true summit sadly and my conscience won't let me bag it either. | thejackrustles | 18/03/2020 |

After Lindisdarne, Lesley and i visited St Cuthbert's cave. I elected not to climb the tumps nearby, instead we headed to Ros Castle not realising it was a hill. I parked on the verge and took the easy path up to the Trig then climbed over the wall for the summit in the heather. I climbed back over the fence where it had crumbled and took a narrower route down nearer the wall, mainly sheep trods. Great views of the Cheviots. My 1st Northumbrian tump! | Dazingdale | 02/10/2019 |
With Minnie from verge parking, easy to follow path steep in places to Top/Trig/Mini castle topographs, mostly cloudy but warm & dry, good views. | apricorum | 27/09/2019 |
