Great 11 mile walk from parking area near Peter House farm, along country lane for a few miles and up onto Longlands Fell, Lowthwaite Fell, Great Sca Fell, Knott and Great Calva, back down by lovely Whitewater Dash to car, perfectly clear and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, had views far into the Southern Uplands towards Criffel, Cairnsmore of Fleet, Merrick, Corserine, Cairnsmore of Carsphairn, Queensberry, Hart Fell, White Coomb, Ettrick Pen and maybe even The Cheviot! Still a lot of deep snow on Knott and the higher fells around, a great walk for a Sunday in the Lake District avoiding the crowds, only saw about 15 people all day, drove to and bagged Binsey afterwards.DanTrig26/03/2017

13th top of 19 today on my improvised first leg of the Bob Graham round done as a circular from the Craglands guesthouse in Keswick. Hills climbed were Latrigg, Lonscale Fell, Lonscale Pike, Jenkins Hill, Skiddaw Lesser Man, Skiddaw Little Man, Skiddaw South top, Skiddaw Middle top, SKIDDAW! Skiddaw North top, Broad end and then onto Bakestall before descending to the Cumbria Way where I had my lumch on the stile and I ended up being Gatekeeper for a few mins. I continued on the Cumbria way and where it switches back, decided to use the fence-line as the route planned was through high heather. AS I climbed I noticed that a stream ran across the path so I climbed this and it was a good shortcut, following the fence to the corner from where it ascends to the summit. A nice spot!.Dazingdale06/06/2016

Done solo after Great Calva. No navigation issues other than on leaving the vague path I was following kept in line with a fence. I had no idea where the fence went so I took a direct line to where I wanted to be - only to find that the fence had skirted a rise and came down to the same place.Aimless Rambler31/08/2013
