Staying at High House, Seathwaithe on an Ochils Mountaineering Club trip. We headed up to Glaramara first, into the mist, then along ridge toward Scafell Pike. By the time we got to Lincomb Tarns the mist had burned off and it was blue skies with light wind thereafter. We went over Allen Crags, Great End, Ill Crag and Broad Crag. Finishing on Scafell Pike and returned via the corridor route, 09:55hrs. We started off as a group of six, but Nicky & Linda turned off before Allen Crags (Linda hadn't been hillwalking in a while), Sharon decided to include Sca Fell as well, while Michael, Simon and I (cowardly) returned to High House.chillyman824/09/2022

Superb walk from Thorneythwaite Fell. Not sure what I'm doing messing about trying to find a deleted Nuttall in the freezing wind but the scenery's good. Found the rock in the picture. Can't see how it's 10m prominence. On to Round How via Greta Gill.Wycombe Wanderer27/10/2018
