From High Rigg and having a failed attempt to get anywhere near the start of Raven's Crag we decided on an unplanned trip over HardKnott pass. Myla wasn't keen on another but we convinced her. we parked next to the Hardknott summit cairn and followed the well marked path. Great summit and very interesting mountain. From the summit and a failed attempt for a Geo Cache at the summit I wanted to find the Eskdale Needle. Bec and Myla waited and took pictures while I traversed to the Needle and climbed on the side of it. from there we went back to the car and drove some amazing roads to have a bubblegum and Turkish delight ice cream on Bardsea beach while walking through the water before heading home for a Chinese and chill.Scotty 2 Hotty09/06/2018
