From free car park at High Row; Old Coach Road to White Pike, Clough Head, Calfhow Pike, Little Dodd, Great Dodd, Watson’s Dodd, Stybarrow Dodd, Raise, White Side, Green Side, Hart Side and Birkett Fell. Pleasant rocky top, maybe the nicest of the day. Entertained during our lunch break here by a group of lost cyclists arguing at length about the route down - they didn't want our help though, apparently their Garmin knew much more than our OS map did!wheresthepath23/06/2018

Climbed with Mark Jolly. Glencoyne to Nick Head (pass) to The Chimney to Raise to Stybarrow Dodd to Watson Dodd to Great Dodd to Matterdale Common to Dockray to Ullswater to Glencoyne. 6 hours. Winter conditions. Ice above 200m. Snow above 400m. Mostly sunny with great visibility. A good round on hills which are traditionally regarded as dull but enlivened by snow and excellent views (particularly SW towards Scafell Pike). Hint - there are lay-bys on the A592 by Ullswater if you want to avoid the NT car park charges!jamessteel10028/12/2017
