From Patterdale Hotel, round of St Sunday Crag, Fairfield and Seat Sandal. The ascent from St Sunday col is steep and includes a small pike, the descent to Seat Sandal is slippery, but the summit is broad and flat, and was the climax of a fell race.Topographer5712/05/2018

From Great Rigg made the final part of this ridge to Fairfield. shouldn't of been as hard work as it was but with a strong wind constantly hitting our faces and deep snow this was challenging. to look at reminded me of the ridge between Frostwick and Thornthwaite Crag. After a steady pace made it to the summit to be greeted by several cairns and wind shetlers. after my pictures of Cofa Pike and St Sundays Crag stopped sat down and enjoyed several Gold bars.Scotty 2 Hotty09/02/2018
