11.6 mile walk in perfect hot and sunny weather with nice breeze, parked near chapel in Martindale. Climbed up onto Steel Knotts sitting on Pikeawassa, carried on to Brownthwaite Crag, followed little path up to Keasgill Head then along easy ridge to High Raise, across to Kidsty Pike and Rampsgill Head, then down over The Knott, slogged up to Rest Dodd, then along little paths to Brock Crags passing lovely Angle Tarn, climbed straight up onto Angletarn Pikes South Top, then Angletarn Pikes, along little trails on ridge to Beda Fell back down to Martindale, drove around the corner to car park and quick up and down Hallin Fell. | DanTrig | 18/06/2017 |

Started at the car park near brothers water, hart sop, next to low wood. 
Walked up to the knot and across high street to racecourse hill and then across to thorn thwarts beacon. 
Then made it down the valley and scrambled up to stoney cove pike. 
Walked down caudale moor onto the main road and back to brothers water.

Extremely cold and windy 
Lots on snow underfoot not enough for crampons. Occasional ice.
