From Hartsop, up to Thornthwaite Crag from pasture beck. Nice walk through the boulder field to the col and then a very steep ascent to the top, which I didn't enjoy very much! From there to High Street, Rampsgill Head, Kidsty Pike, High Raise and the across to The Knott before descending to Hayeswater and a track back to the car park.re142124/05/2019

11.6 mile walk in perfect hot and sunny weather with nice breeze, parked near chapel in Martindale. Climbed up onto Steel Knotts sitting on Pikeawassa, carried on to Brownthwaite Crag, followed little path up to Keasgill Head then along easy ridge to High Raise, across to Kidsty Pike and Rampsgill Head, then down over The Knott, slogged up to Rest Dodd, then along little paths to Brock Crags passing lovely Angle Tarn, climbed straight up onto Angletarn Pikes South Top, then Angletarn Pikes, along little trails on ridge to Beda Fell back down to Martindale, drove around the corner to car park and quick up and down Hallin Fell.DanTrig18/06/2017
