With Daphne and John - parked at Pooley Bridge, took the ferry to Howtown, walked up Fusedale onto the ridge to get the two Wainwrights then a gentle stroll down to the car park. This makes for a very pleasant walk.Richard22/04/2019

Parked by Martindale Church - Steel End /- Fusedale - over Groove Beck to long ruined homestead on the slopes of Gowk Hill - climbed to the Roman road on the Wether Hill ridge - Load Pot Hill summit & trig - steep descent to Groove Beck - Fusedale - Steel End - Martindale Church then to the summit of Hallin Fell with its Obelisk to finish the day. Fusedale Round from Martindale Old Church. 10.93 miles with 870m of ascent in 6hrs 57mins with 5 hrs 13 mins moving time and 1hr 44mins stopped time.
