As Per Wainwright Route, although you now have to park half a mile further up the road. Lovely and peaceful did not see a soul all day. From Tailbert followed footpath into Swindale via Trussgap Brow. On to Swindale Head and Dodd Bottom. Ascent of Nabs Moor and on to Howes. Descent in Mosedale, crossing Mosedale Beck and climb of Ulthwaite Rigg. On to High Wether Howe, Fewling Stones, Seat Robert, Great Ladstones and Langhowe Pike. WOs105-109; Bs 91,92 and 93. An excellent sunny day out based on W's Seat Robert walk. Dropped off at Truss Gap and up excellent path to top of the fell. Straight ahead to add Glede Howe, then moderate terrain over Fewling Stones and High Wether Howe to Seat Robert.
