6.5 mile walk from car park in Patterdale. We followed the footpath past the hotel, then ascended the main route up to St. Sunday Crag. We retraced our steps to the col then very easily climbed up along ridge to Birks. From Birks we took the grassy trail leading us to Arnsion Crag, then descended back to footpath, then back to car park. Clear and sunny conditions. Quite a few people about. 801m ascent. | DanTrig | 13/09/2022 |

Parked in the carpark opposite The Patterdale Hotel (£5 charge). Ascended by path behind the hotel in clear sunny weather. Somehow this is a summit I have missed over the years, but it is well worth a visit. Ideally I should have walked on to Binks and St Sunday Crag, but these are summits reached on other occasions. | JohnW | 26/04/2022 |
