With Val. From lay-by on the A5092. Quarry track to start with then a good path up to the northerly wind turbine and along track to the large cairn which marks the summit. Clear weather and fantastic views. A better hill than expected.mike.hoult26/08/2021

Train to Kirkby-in-Furness then Lowick High Common (rough going across moor due to bracken & heather), Combs, Gt Burney, Blawith Knott and Tottlebank Height. walked out to Water Yeat and caught bus to Coniston and on to Kendal. Saw nobody all day but did see 2 merlins, buzzards and other interesting birdlife.trimarc212/07/2021

Plenty of parking at the Quarry and an easy to follow track to the summit between slag and turbines.summitter16/09/2020
From lay-by next to Woodlands road turning on A5092. By good tracks to the summit which is a fine viewpoint over the coast, despite the wind turbines and quarrying.Nick Down111/09/2020
