From NT car park at Dodgson Wood with M following same route as Summitter.PeterD29/12/2023
With Carol - Park on verge just north of Water Park, near High Nibthwaite. Use track from High Nibthwaite village to the top of Top o’ Selside (1099’) (and second top). Good views of Lake Coniston, and Coniston Range, to the west. Reverse the last ascent and then head to High Light Haw (867’), Low Light Haw (810’) and Brock Barrow (748’). From summit pillar, head east and pick up path to Caws Beck, returning to High Nibthwaite. Hot (27 degrees) and breezy. A great clockwise walk. Navigation, using paths and sheep tracks, generally straightforward.DABT05/09/2023

ACW circuit from road 200 yards N of High Nibthwaite. Head-high bracken, brambles and gorse blocked Wainwright’s route up Buck Barrow, so I followed the path by the wall E and cut up slopes of bracken and scree to the true summit and WO summit at the square cairn. Thereafter, a hugely enjoyable walk through a miniature upland of rock and heather tops: Low Light Haw, High Light Haw, Arnsbarrow S and N, Heel Toe Hill and the true and WO summits of Top O’Selside, returning by the green lane.Nick Down109/09/2020
