With Val. From small parking area near Thrang. Short section of road then Pennine Bridleway to ridge and ascent to The east summit then on to the main summit near the TP and shelter. Hot and sunny. Heatwave conditions but thankful for a good breeze higher up.mike.hoult11/08/2022

After Baugh Fell in the morning. Swarth Fell and Wild Boar Fell. from bridge over railway east of Swarth Fell summit. track from here takes you across left to wall, followed this up to point where it turned south then straight up rto ridge just south of Swarth Fell summit then north along ridge to Wild Boar Fell, an odd line of cairns before you get there. A very impressive summit shelter. North to Bridle Way, then back along road to start. Might have been better to double bacvk tyo Swarth Fell Tarn using walls as guide down to start point. A good walk.dickscroop22/06/2022

Seventh summit of the week for Boo and I. The one metre climb from the east top began to take it's toll. Boo jumped in every bog and mini tarn across the top.Alphaville19928/05/2022
