Nuttall four of five. Very hard going from start to finish. 10 minute kms on my first walk, 16 minute kms on this one even though there was very little ascent. Tough going.simocity11/02/2024

Today was day 6 and my final day of a long backpack. Fendrith Hill was my first summit as I had camped close by on Westernhope Moor. An easy approach to the summit.morgs4mountains26/03/2022

Solo walk from Swinhope Head. After a period of dry weather the conditions underfoot were virtually dry. Over Dora's Seat to Fendrith Hill (small cairn is higher than trig point) then onto Chapelfell Top (visited both cairns and pole) back over Swinhope Head to Westernhope Moor (knoll and trig point). Back to Swinhope Head.Glenelg23/04/2021

Used quarry road from NW. Continues to line of grouse butts up grassy line through hags. From there round the hill to reach the top avoids worst of hags. This was our return route! Much better than the way we went up. With B and R.jenx12/11/2020
P at Green Lord's Seat - Fendrith Hill - Dora's Seat - dropped N into valley to Swinhope Burn @ 460m then ascent to Chapelfell Top (both summits & S Top) - back to P via Quarry (SE End).ger04/11/2020
Started from Swinhopehead House but made the mistake of taking the marked route which led to the ski club house - an ascent up the grassy piste meant we ended up doing Fendrith Hill before Chapelfell Top which wasn't our original intention. Misty all the way so no views.milimana08/09/2020

Boggy loop to Westernhope Moor Trig, Black Hill Trig (North of ridge at 559m, not recognised on this site) and Fendrith Hill. Spotted by gamekeeper who had seen me watching an owl and thought I was either a bird surveyor or someone destroying traps (which are apparently on surveillance now). He was satisfied after a chat that I was just visiting the trigs.meltdiceburg16/07/2020

From Chapelfell Top. Peat was dry because of drought and made for easy walking. Headed to Three Pikes afterwards.NorthernWayfarer29/05/2020

Parked at the start of the quarry track to the NW. Wet, boggy, windy, low cloud to the trig at Fendrith, then along to Chapelfell Top. Reasonable descent path down to Harthorpe Head. With Gillianrichard6902/01/2020
