Route up as described by summitter. Solo. | Dangerous Dave | 07/01/2023 |
From Inveroran Hotel, along the WHW until Mam Carraigh, where a muddy track runs up to the ridge towards Ben Inverveigh and its summit point. Continued SW along ridge until SE of Lochan Coir' Orain, where it's a descent to the beallach and a short climb up to Meall Tairbh. Still before noon, so after a bite to eat we bagged the two smaller lumps of Meall an Laoigh and its West top before doubling back to contour below the NE flank of Meall Tairbh, assisted through bog and heather by the occasional deer path and afternoon sunshine. | summitter | 22/11/2022 |
From Victoria Bridge cp, back along WHW to Mam Carraigh then up NE ridge of Ben Inverveigh to summit. On in very windy conditions (no forward progress at times! to Meall Tairbh. | MichaelF | 26/10/2022 |
Easy parking at Inverarnan. Mapped path off WHW doesn't exist, but vegetation is okay. Early morning visit before the rain sets in. | PGCE | 17/05/2022 |

From public carpark at Bridge of Orchy, crossed Orchy river on bridge and followed West Highland Way/ Old Military road to shoulder. Turned SW up the ridge of tussocky grass with rock outcrops, path part of way. Summit rock outcrop higher than cairns but all quite level. Showery with low cloud. Returned same way and drove home (from Banavie). | Denise | 19/09/2021 |
With Denise in rain showers and fleeting rays of sunshine. Levelish summit plateau, high point a large rock with a small neat cairn on the grass beside it. | RichardM | 18/09/2021 |
