With Sue and NB from cp at school in Ravenstonedale. walk to Townhead and over two foot bridges and follow good track then faint path to Knoutberry and Green Bell summit. S to Spendgill Head and Grere Fell and on to Knott. NW to better dryer path at top of Wyegarth Gill, return to village. Cloudy, wet and windy.Frank08/02/2022

From Newbiggin on lune plenty parking at the end of the village near the methodist Church. Up the ridge though some indistinct path on the lower slopes it becomes very obvious higher up. On to Randygill top then probably not the normal return route, down the southwest ridge across the stream then up onto Hazelgill Knott and down the ridge over West Fell. 11 miles 2600ft climbingJulieB04/10/2020
