Dufton carpark, along road towards Murton, then path up High Cup Nick, down Pennine Way a short distance then contoued over rough ground to Rundale. Decided against Brownber due to heat and walked down to first gate to Dufton Pike, very steep path. Down main path and track to start. | Flatfield | 27/08/2022 |

With Val. From Dufton. Pennine Way then walls prevent getting to open access at NW end of ridge so dropped to Rundale Beck where public footpath takes you into open access land and a good path goes up to the ridge and on to the summit. | mike.hoult | 06/08/2022 |

Change of plan with Tony as it was not a good day for heading up high. Dufton Pike turned out to be a really very enjoyable alternative instead. | Alex C | 15/11/2021 |
With Sal from Dufton, via Pennine Way. Followed ridge to W, but uncrossable walls meant we had to drop down to pick up path to N. Clear, but grey. | davechaffey | 12/11/2021 |

Parked near community toilets, which has ample parking, then followed bridleway that leads to old lead mines. Path to top starts at obvious gate and then stiff climb to top.Rewarded with panoramic views in all directions. A super wee hill. Descended down to Pennine Way and back to Village.Wonderful way to spend an hour and a half. | catriona | 16/08/2021 |

stunning spot | richardrosser | 12/08/2021 |
A fine hill indeed and one that I had seen in passing quite a few years previously when completing a long walk but didn't have the energy left to goo up. Today, parked in Dufton, and approached from the south-east which was easy enough over a stile. Came down towards NE which was more contrived, ensuring we stayed on permissive routes. Ended up on Pennine Way with a pleasant route through fields and farms back to Dufton. | Father Ted | 12/08/2021 |
