Stayed at Ingleton YH the night before, started at 08:20am parking on tne B6255, up to Ingleborough then across to Simon Fell back at the car for 11:00am. One of the least enjoyable hikes, the path is almost entirely made up of large flagstones and theres a long wooden broadwalk to save folk getting their feet wet over a bog. I didn't appreicate its part of the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Challegne and was overrun with charity walks. By no means a wild place anymore, truly horrible.chillyman816/09/2023

With Alder and Graeme. Beautiful sunny day. Boggy under foot once you leave the main path to Ingleborough. Views right across to the Langdales.Fionalevey03/08/2023
BHMC hut weekend based at Clapham. from North top along ridge. On my own in the rain, which abated around 2pm. Descent via Dales High Way path, which was very busy with very bedraggeled three peakers.alwaysinshorts22/07/2023

Low cloud first thing to the extent that I managed to lose the path from near the Hill Inn in that vague grassy section early on! Having lost it decided to forget the Ingleborough path and opted for a directissimo. Worked out well, easy going to join ridge abut 200 metres east of the eastern wall/path that takes you directly to the summit. Continued on that line to join the normal route back to near the Hill Inn.dickscroop28/01/2022

Ingleborough from Ribblehead, visiting Park Fell, Simon Fell North Top, Simon Fell and Ingleborough itself. A nice covering of powdery snow with some icy tracks near the summit, making crampons or microspikes beneficial. A great winter walk! 13km with 600m ascent in 4 hours. (S)silveracorn_alan29/12/2020
