From the car park, easy walk, nice wee scramble to finish. Then drizzle - rocks very slippy when wet. | iangalbraith | 28/11/2022 |
Day 2 of a 5 day winter backpack around the Shropshire hills. The light when at the summit of Stiperstones was truly dramatic as the sun was starting to set. Combined with the threatening skies, it was one of the finest light shows I've experienced. I walked over from Long Mynd. | morgs4mountains | 20/11/2022 |

Ascended good track from car park to the SE.
Track is rocky, summit bouldery and involved a little scramble.
Nice bit of fun in the dark in the rain. | JK | 14/02/2022 |

5/6 Dewey Day. Stiperstones from the Nature Reserve car park to the south east. Visited the Trig, which has a lovely airy perch on the very top of the rocky summit. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 14/08/2021 |
Parked at the National Trust car park to the south (£3 but entirely voluntary) and followed the footpath to the summit. Continued onto Devils Chair and then looped back around, car park very busy by the time I got back so advise getting here early in summer! The summit was breathtaking in the mist, very eerie and had a distinct Middle Earth feel to it. Will be coming back here on a clearer day to see what I imagine to be the incredible views. | jamiequackers | 08/08/2021 |

A small and easily missable sign at the top CP says it is pay-by-mobile-phone parking (whatever that means, and unsure of what the £ penalty is if you fail to see it and comply). There is a bigger more prominent sign with the same message at The Bog CP. But there is free verge parking near top CP. Up Shropshire Way from road junction at SO362976 - a horribly rocky slow going path, reminiscent of the boulder fields on some Scottish summits. Entertaining, but all too brief, scramble to trig point. | Isbjorn | 17/04/2021 |
A wander around from Knolls carpark | Dan Baddeley | 12/12/2020 |

Started from nearest CP to SSE. Just a 1km walk from here. 100m ascent. Some climbing required at the summit but not too challenging. With whole family. | RoguePulsar | 25/07/2020 |
I liked climbing the rocks with my family and it was fun going down them. I liked the walk up because of the cool heather | speedyclimber | 25/07/2020 |
Very scenic. Initial path up is good, however once you get toward the summit the path is very rocky and around the trig point itself there’s very a steep drop. Stunning views and worth it in the end! | evangelinebarratt | 25/07/2020 |
From the Bog car park - surprised that there were not more folk about. We both took as challenging a line up the rocks as possible. Maisie declined to jump of the trig! | DanMaisieBex | 24/07/2020 |
From car park to trig point atop rocky outcrop | ianandbarbara | 24/07/2020 |
11.7 mile walk from The Bog car park, followed surprisingly easy and well waymarked paths across fields to Mucklewick Hill, from there headed south through Nind farm and along unclassified road up onto Black Rhadley Hill, from there followed road a little further then path up to Nipstone Rock (22m prominence), then easy trail up onto Stiperstones (2nd time bagged), nice rocky climb up to the trig, then followed Shropshire way north with a quick heather bash onto The Paddock, turned back and followed contouring path west of Stiperstones back to The Bog. Clear and sunny/breezy day with amazing views of surrounding area and afar from the Radnor Forest up to Plynlimon area and Snowdonia; You could easily see the Berwyns, Aran Fawddwy, Cadair Idris and what looked like Glasgwm, Maesglase and maybe even Snowdon. Quite busy on Stiperstones but the rest of the walk fairly quiet. Earlier that day bagged Earls Hill. | DanTrig | 20/06/2020 |

Parked at the Knoll / Nature reserve car park.
Followed easy path to trig although had to use compass a a few times as it was mega foggy today. Scrambled up slippy rock to Trig from East side thebonce up, realised west would have been safer. No views due to fog but a great mini adventure | ironwolf | 27/12/2019 |
