5 Marilyns from base in Ludlow. Aconbury Hill, Garway Hill, Ruardean Hill, May Hill, and Seager Hill. Ruardean Hill was almost a drive by, Seager Hill was a bit of a nettle fest. The other three made the day.Longwojo10/06/2023

Easy packing. A lovely hill and walk.Play2End09/04/2022
Car service in Tewkesbury, so persuaded Shaky into driving around 4 Gloucestershire & Herefordshire Marilyns for the day. Glorious weather. First one from Glasshouse where there is plenty of parking just N of pub. Followed various paths leading upwards to emerge from the trees & up to the summit. Spent some time wandering around admiring the views. Back down by the Wysis Way.NotReallyABagger22/02/2022
Parked at the cattle Grid on West side of the hill in small car park area and up the fields to the summit trees and back. Half an hour of lovely strolling and enjoyed meeting the ponies who graze the common. An old childhood haunt revisited.nickywood111/02/2022

Parked at the small parking area on minor road to NW.paulhilder05/12/2021
Top car park full, so went down to lower car park by pub at 699227. Walked slightly back up the road to the common land and took footpath signposted May Hill, leading direct to summit. Created a mini circuit by taking Gloucestershire Way towards May Hill Village then tracks through lower part of woods back to the road just below the pub. 3.4 miles, very pleasant circuit and good views from top.JulieB10/10/2021
Parked in May Hill car park then did a loop: May Hill > Hobbs > Huntley Hill > Bright's Hill and back to May Hill. Plenty of stiles, not the best if you have a heavy dog with you like I didlboutside22/09/2021
Enjoyable 6K run up from S just off A40. Liked mixed woodland, but not great views on a grey day.davechaffey13/09/2021
Beautiful walk and so pictureqsue looking back across the countryside before the summit. Plenty of places to park (went in the layby by the pub in Glasshouse) and National Trust signage leading the way. One to come back to in the future - think it would be stunning come autumn. Note that the Glasshouse pub itself is coming under new management and at the time of writing is closed - no cheeky pint on the way back this time!jamiequackers16/07/2021

First new hill of the year, but well worth the wait. May Hill on May Day; very nice :).Alex C01/05/2021
On a muddy and slippery Gloucestershire Way walk from Mitcheldean to Huntley. I've been viewing May Hill from afar from many, many places over the last 15 years, so it was about time I got up here. The views west towards Wales were rather curtailed by thick cloud, and I must admit to being a bit disappointed by the lack of views in other directions due to the trees. Still, it's a nice spot in the sunshine and I was glad that it would be mainly downhill from here!thesweetcheat05/12/2020
An easy out-and-back from the parking area on minor road to the north. Write-up at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.com/2020/11/hill-bagging-in-herefordshire.htmlGayle03/11/2020

Nice copse at the top, parked by the church.Stevooo16/05/2020
I've often seen this hill from afar so decided to bag it while on a day out with Sonja (to view the Severn Bore at Minsterworth). We parked by the water tank at SO 701207 then walked 800 metres along the very clear track northwest to the summit. A breezy clear day with intermittent sunny intervals. The broad grassy summit is topped by a landmark grove of pine trees. Great views of the Black Mountains, Forest of Dean, Cotswolds, Malverns, and the snaking silvery Severn. A small herd of Belted Galloway cattle grazes on the hill. An ideal place to walk a dog or have a picnic.Skip11/03/2020
Enjoyable walk through Newent Forest.Very wet and windy at the top. Storm Ciara!CXB10/01/2020
