Asked permission which was happily given. Owner also gave me good directions to the summit. Go to the end of track and through gate, turn right and through second gate, then turn right and through third gate. Trig is in the hedge in front and to the left.Ratboy8725/08/2023
Knocked at the house to ask for permission, but no one in. Quick bag.mazz02/07/2023

As per KevPalmer. Up track, through straight on gate at end, turn right through next gate, right through next gate and easy to spot trig in hedge just to the right of the compound. Very friendly sheep in field, think they thought I was going to feed them. Drive to get there up narrow lanes was much more exerting than bagging the summit.JulieB25/02/2023
Asked for permission from house at start of mast track. This was freely given along with thanks for asking. Walk up the mast track to the hedge at the end of the field. Go through this and on your right is a gate leading towards the mast. Go over/through this and there is another gate on your right. Go through this one and it is easy to find the trig in the hedge. There is no need to go into the secure mast compound. If you try and view the trig from the east side of the hedge there is a wire fence in the way along with thick hedgerow.KevPalmer08/01/2023

Lots of parking if it wasn't for the hunt. Easy find in hedge.Newton Maximus26/12/2020
4/5 House now being built at end of lane – angry sign warning private and cctv. Glad to have read advice on finding trig first. Rounsfell27/06/2020
First Marilyn of trip on way to Cornwall. Parked van at gate and walked down access road to radio mast. Spent an age looking for buried trig pillar in brambles NW of mast. should have read map more carefully, found trig and summit hidden in hedgerow running along SE boundary of mast. Burnt clutch out on steep washed out adopted road west of Great Dorweeke on way. Got as far as Exeter before finishing journey to Bugle in recovery vehicle.mntainman18/01/2020

Passing on route to Okhampton, short detour from mast access track as others. Fresh hedge pruning plus low evening sun you can see silhouette of trig as you approach, but as others go through the two gates just behind the head to gain trigpoint. Marilyn 6/7N.Morters27/04/2019

Along access road to the mast. Trig point in hedge is found quite easily by passing through both gates by the mast.Winterfloodian24/09/2018
Trig is accessible from both sides of the mast compound, and seemed to me be higher ground on the west side.Topographer5709/08/2018

From Silverton, drive N along Fore Street. Continue uphill and park opposite Christ Cross signpost. Then as Stormcrow. In July, the beech hedge is so dense that the trig point cannot be seen from one metre away at the SE corner of the compound, but look under the hedge and the trig point is revealed! East, effortless walk in hot, clear conditions.Dartmoorman05/07/2018
