Logged Descriptions  (logged by 105 users)ByDate of Ascent
From Woolland church, via minor roads, including whole triangle. Misty and drizzly. My 300th English Hump.IanHHill17/02/2024
Verge parking to east. Sign says CCTV but none seen. No need to enter aerial enclosures. World war 2 buildings. Ground both disturbed and generally level , so unsatisfactory as far as identifying the HP. Probably in copse, we thought , not in sheep pasture near fence as marked. Also visited trig, accessible through copse by wire fence, between aerials, lower.Denise 05/08/2023
From mast collected trig pillar enroute.cjo24/07/2023
Trig and summit surrounded by a triangle of roads. Parked at junction to NW, entered fields by gate to mast.Minto05/07/2023
Very poor summit area, accessed from mast track as others. With so much man-made ground, the top of the public road could count as the HP. Trig pt definitely not the HP. We walked on lanes from the Woodland Hill viewpoint- a much better place. Sunny, getting hot.pwheeler04/06/2023
Parked by mast to SE, but walked around to cuckoo lane gate to go to trig first, man made HP in copse, another smaller mound by the smaller mast and by fence. Back to road on track.PeterD04/05/2023
From parking on road just to E. 2nd Hump of 6 for the day on a drive from London.Mark Jackson05/11/2022
After Bell Hill mostly on tarmac. Took a while to find the way in and rode up to the trig. Had a wander round the copse and then a flying descent to The Fox, Anstey for a very high quality pintfasgadh01/09/2022

Rough parking area to NE at ST 7830 0590 - SW along road to gate at 780056, over gate & W. along vehicle track to the E. perimeter of copse by smaller mast; the mast is sited next to a green metal shed. Also went through gate into compound & visited the man-made earth mound next to mast. (S)gerrybowes12/05/2021
Parked at entrance to masts. Short walk over to HP in a small copse.fosal2910/11/2019
06.30 circuitous route all along south road of the triangle then in to the trig via entrance off west road, then on to the HuMP summitvegibagger24/08/2019
More trouble navigating the lanes than finding the summit and trig.Eddie11/07/2019
Unremarkable, for sure, but easy won. Note the site is bounded by triangle of roads. Park at north west point, walk down Cuckcoo Lane and enter at west side of site. Pass to north of transmitter and head for copse, the hillock within is your quarry.Pete West20/02/2019
W Bryher and Jenx from parking by East mast. Good tracks, lines to follow.nordicstar15/05/2018
With K from gate by transmitter to west as others have described.Ashley14/11/2017

An easy trespass from 779055.Chris Peart01/01/2013
Parked close by at the Woolland Nature Reserve car park, walked across to Lyscombe Hill first and took in Bulbarrow on the return. A short trespass across farmland was needed to access the summit with its trig point.jonglew04/06/2012
From mast. Trig was obscured by bales!chrisbien22/05/2012

Parked just below summit and walked down along the Wessex Ridgeway to just before Crockers farm. Ascended by same route and entered field with trig from Radio Mast access track.garyhoney27/05/2000
Can not find date but it was in 1999. From the car parking viewpoint to the north we found a way into the triangle containing the top.ChinnockC01/04/1999
