Logged Descriptions  (logged by 36 users)ByDate of Ascent
Cycled up to the deerfence gate used by Munro baggers, after exploring the forestry track which Peters out with brash after felling work, and the new water board track which goes up to 620m looked too steep even for my ebike. So up by the Allt a Mhuillin then by the burn descending from near the summit. Snow depth was a big problem above 600m and a very cold wind at the top. Chose not to traverse to BB East Top due to snow conditions and my lack of preparedness. A bit disappointing but lived to walk another day.NormanW15/04/2023
Parked at the end of Glen Fyne for a circuit of 5 Simms (and 3 other summits) around Beinn Buidhe: Beinn Bhuidhe East Top, Ceann Garbh, Beinn an t-Sithein, Stac a' Chuirn, Beinn Chas.PGCE18/09/2022
From Achadunan car park. Climbed up on the unmarked track just before Glenfyne Lodge. Detoured to Newton Hill summit. Followed track to the end and then contoured(ish) over to the ridge end at Ceann Garbh, then back to Beinn Bhuidhe East Top, Beinn Bhuidhe, Stac a' Chuirn East Top and Stac a' Chuirn. Returned to Beinn Bhuidhe summit and took the path back down before branching off to Meall an Daimh. From there a moorland walk to Beinn Chas and continued to Clachan Hill trig. I then dropped back to the parking which wasn't a recommended route due to steep valley and vegetation! Clear on all summits, good views. Solo.meltdiceburg17/09/2022

fine summit, snowy. Descended E to saddle then S into coire. 10h (!) c/w circuit from head of Loch Fyne (parking by old bridge): Bhuidhe + Clachan + the GT and 3 CTs. In snowshoes but still heavy going in deepish snow. Track in Glen icy most of the way back. RHW04/12/2010
now swinging sw and steeper, then flattens out a bit to the first of the three peaks, rocky Ceann Garbh. View North fantastic of Ben Lui in snow and to the south I could make out every peak in the Arrochar Alps. Snow melting fast, even up here. Next suWhithaugh27/04/2002
