Up and down from Glenssaunn bothy.Eddie20/03/2024
From Carie parking (NN617570), across new footbridge (NN616569), E and S round the camp ground to track S to ca NN618549, E up new ATV track by burn to deer fence (gate, climbable stile) at NN625548, then up decreasingly visible ATV tracks SE and then direct to summit, descending ESE to track along Glen Sassunn down to minor road at Inverhadden, along roads to parking by war memorial (NN659578) (4h50m, circuit completed by car). The view from hill is stunning looking down Loch Rannoch. Onto Mellanan OdharAndrew Simmons11/08/2023

Parked in the 'forest walks' car park at NN6168 5702. The bridge there was closed, so walked back over the road bridge and took the forest track between that bridge and the first house. Pleasant forest walk to a track junction at NN61861 54907, then E along the track by the river. A wide ATV track continued to a gate at the top of the forest (NN62557 54811), then a rather wet ATV track continued onto the hill. Lovely views all round from the summit.LizH04/11/2021
Note that the road from Kinloch Rannoch on the south side of Dunalastair Water is now a clear way. Therefore we parked in Kinloch Rannoch and biked to the start of the track at NN674577. We climbed Meall Breac from the track. A new track from about NN658547 now leads to about NN673537 facilitating climbing Meallanan Ohdar and Geal Charn.BaggerGutt08/06/2021
Solo trip from Carie (forestry campsite car park), which is a shorter approach than Glen Sassunn and a lovely walk through the pine forest. I went up by the burn at northing 549 (hydro road part way up) and down the SW ridge to the road at the southern end of the forest. Carn Gorm to the south looks its best from here. Loch Rannoch very calm.Invicta1415/04/2021
From the War Memorial, over Creag an Fhithich then up the track on Glen Sassunn. Visited the bothy on the way down, which was decorated inside for a birthday party. Then on to Meallanan Odhar and Geal Charn.NormanW25/11/2020
Parked just east of bridge over Tempar Burn. Round of 3 Simms: Geal Charn, Meallanan Odhar, Meall Breac. Hydro track continues to stream junction at 673538.PGCE12/07/2020
Easy out and back from Glen SassunnColin Crawford06/12/2018
Up good track from bridge to junction withe the new hydro track not on my old map. Then diagonally up Meall BNreac, down and along hydro track for Meallanan Odhar and Geall Charn to pick up path/track back to road just east of start point.New hydro track made it much easier than anticipated for cross over.dickscroop22/04/2018
meall breac and geal charn from innerhadden mostly on good tracks, parked near bridge at entrance to track.robertphillips09/04/2017
