Parked in the layby SW of the bridge (NN193563), crossed onto the track for a short distance, then up on grass E of the river, to the meeting of waters at NN1913 5720. Went steeply NNW up to about the 650m contour, then WNW to join the path at the W end of A'Chaileach's ridge at NN1833 5766. Easy descent to the col and up to the summit. Fabulous views all round.LizH23/09/2023
From A' Chailleach. Returned around S slopes of A' Chailleach, before a descending traverse above the crags into coire and down to A82. Mapped track to N of A82 is very wet in places on return to Altnafeadh.Minto25/02/2023

From A'Chailleach. Before reaching the bealach, the mountain gods suddenly threw everything in their armoury at me. Made it to the summit and returned to A'Chailleach and descended by route of ascent, the mist clearing and layers of mountains illuminated, brown and white. On to Bheinn Bheag.Wycombe Wanderer04/04/2019

Travelling back from Skye and not the planned walk for the day at all but with a broken compass the others were ruled out by cloud and this was straightforward and the cloud had lifted by the time i got here. Starting on WHW then Stob Mhic Mhartuin; A Chailleach; Sron Garbh back to WHW and across to Beinn Bheag. Started to rain just before I got to car and belted down three minutes after I had got into it.dickscroop04/06/2018

With Jo, Paul and Rick. Intention was the Cuillin Ridge but weather forecast rubbish so opted for Annoch Eagach ridge instead, the best high level traverse along a ridge in mainland UK. Jo drove car down to Clachaig for us. Great day out, fantastic views and fun scrambling.Mark T17/07/1992
