| Parked at NN1658251019 and then walked south on road to gate at NN1647850926. Used forest ride on east side of burn to get through forest (no shortage of wet bracken on the day we passed by). A waterfall towered over us as we exited at NN1620051547. Followed a steep ramp up avoiding various outcrops to gain the ridge line and continued on to the summit. No view! | Very wet and windy so settled for a short day. Where path from road crosses stream this was impassable after the overnight rain so headed pathless up the west side. Had planned gaining ridge at bealach just before summit but this looked coniced so picked a way direct to summit on loose, steep ground, not very satisfactory especially in descent.
