From the quarry north of Dalwhinnie (NN 6363 8625). The Fara, its South Top and Leacann na Sguabaich first, then on down to here over easy ground. Retraced steps for the return. Just under 10k each way.jonglew04/06/2023
From Allt An-t Sluic, the estate track up to 670m. Then over the Fara tops and Sguabaich finally to here. Returned the same way, 19.4k in 5 hours.NormanW21/07/2022

Track towards Allt An't Sluic Lodge, crossing the river just before the lodge and taking the new track, then footpath, to The Fara. Fast and dry terrain to the South top, Leacann na Sguabaich, and Meall Cruaidh meant that rather than returning to Dalwhinnie via the Loch Ericht road we reversed the route back. Great walk. 4.5 hrs total.summitter17/04/2021
