Cycled up from the car park before the power station at Bridge of Ericht to the bridge to the SE of the summit, then up through crags to top. Simm 1/3.NormanW19/03/2022
Easiest parking by power station at NN532583. There are locked gates on the track on the RHS of the power station. Therefore Bike to gate at NN522582. Main gate is padlocked but side gate on RHS is OK. Track starts a bit gravelly but improves, eventually becoming a good tarmac road!BaggerGutt06/06/2021
7 tops from bridge of ericht, biked up the track to the bridge near ruighe ghlas, sron a chlaonaidh, creag na h lolaire, cam dearg, meall ban, meall gorm, tom an stoil, sron bheag.robertphillips16/09/2020
From Bridge of Ericht by bike along Coire Bhachdaidh track, left bike by bridge at NN539666, continued along track to ca NN545682, then headed NW direct up slopes to summit of Stob Aonaich Mhior, followed line of v complex (in the prevailing thick mist) ridge SSW then E to Carn Dearg, descended E then SE back to bike by bridge, retirn to Bridge of Erichtkdbennett16/07/2020
Round of 6 Simms from Rannoch power station. Beinn Bhoidheach, Glas Mheall Mor, Meall Odhar Loch Monaidh, Glas Meall Chumhainn, Carn Dearg, Sron a' Chlaonaidh.PGCE09/07/2020
From tent near footbridge up estate track at GR 524640. Sron a Chlaonaidh, then an unexpectedly undulating ridge which might have been more interesting in better visibility - in clioud and drizzle all the way to Carn Dearg and on to Stob an Aonaich Mhor. Not straightforward route finding winding between various bumps in consistent cloud. Deserved a better day, got just the odd glimpse of Loch Ericht. Had planned longer two day trip with bivi bag but deterred by continuous cloud and wet so gave it best and returned down track to tent.dickscroop17/06/2017
From N side of bridge to SE. Easy enough to pick a grassy line through the outcrops onto the bumpy summit crest.Lindsay M01/05/2016

Walked up from Rannoch side road in less than 2 hrs, good walk, no need for bike, easy going and good views. After warm up tops, from watershed cut onto to top. Grand views of Alder group. Descended down south ridge to tops, great locations, can't do that w a bike! Easy ridge down to hydro dam and track out.nordicstar04/08/2013
v fine summit; fine view. circuit from Br of Ericht: desc OK to E RHW01/06/2003
Solo. From Bridge of Ericht I walked/jogged up the tarred track leading to Coire Bhachdaidh Lodge and nearby power station. Eventually left the track to head for Stob an Aonaich Mhòir. I saw a green lizard at about 700m. Continued to Creag na h-Iolaire and Carn Dearg before rejoining the tarred track. After 1 ½ km left the track to take the path going S and SE. I left this path to follow Allt Gaochan an t-Seilich. At weir I followed the track beside the aqueduct and from pipeline direct to starting point. It was dry all day apart from a few light snow flurries and rain which started right at the end (and continued heavily in the evening). There were very good views from summit of Schiehallion, Ben Lawers, Ben More, Buachaille Etive Mòr etc, all with a fair amount of snow. There were only a few patches on my hills.pwbellarby13/05/1995
