From Old Bridge of Tilt car park, cycled along Glen Tilt to the start of a forest trail at NN877676, up that, continuing to the track by Allt Slanaidh, walking N along it to the side track at NN849747, and followed that up to near the summit and across short heather to the cairn, descended S, rejoining the outward track by Allt Slanaidh and back to the start (6h30m). From Blair campsite. A round of Carn Dearg Mor, Beinn a Chait and Elrig. Super colours in the Glen then snow above 700m. A beautiful day. With B and R.jenx10/11/2023
From Glen Tilt Carpark at Old Blair, walked along Glen Tilt to Gilberts Bridge and New Bridge, following the good path all the way to the summit of Beinn Mheadonach. OK path continued to Carn a Chiaraidh, though we lost it in places. Elrig ic an Toisich had less of a path, but with mossy summits and little heather, walking was easy. Contoured round the N end of Beinn Dearg to Beinn Gharbh and the cairn easily found. Straightforward climb to Beinn Dearg. We descended off the almost due S path (the E most of the few) for 2km before heading almost due E over peat hags to meet a track that ran SE to Beinn a Chait. After the summit we were down heather and grass until we reached the path just N of Elrig. A smaller path took us directly to the summit. Descent W to again meet a path that led us over Allt Slanaidh then a 5km track walk back to the car park. 32km, 1300m climb 8 hrs walking. Very dry underfoot. Fab circuit avoiding endless tracks to remote hills.Lynnebe13/09/2023
Old Bridge of Tilt car park - Lady March's Cairn - Meall Dubh - Allt Scheicheachan bothy - Meall Dubh nan Dearcag - Beinn Dearg - Beinn a’ Chait - Carn Dearg Mor - Carn Dearg Mor S Top - Meall Reamhar - forest edge at 870691 - tracks to car: 19.1 miles, 1280m ascent, 8h 5m.Mark Jackson26/07/2023
From Glen Tilt CP, cycled from Old Blair up private road and track to Allt Slanaich ford at 480m, but ford was unsafe to cross, allt in spate after heavy rain. Walked on up left bank until I could cross safely, then on up track to a point 2km SW of summit. Thence easy on short heather.Topographer5709/07/2023
Parked in the Glen Tilt car park for a 13 summit, 43km, circuit around Beinn Dearg and Beinn Mheadhonach. 4/13PGCE11/04/2023
From Glen Tilt CP, via track above the firing range and then beside Allt Slanaidh. Followed track to high point and then E to summit. Last 1.5km took forever due to postholing in the snow. Descent S more directly to track and return by route of ascent.benalder28415/01/2023
Solo trip. Cycled about halfway from Bridge of Tilt, then up by the track on the W side and down the south ridge. The track across Elrig neatly avoids peat bog.Invicta1415/06/2022
My sixth summit on route from Beinn Dearg to Beinn Mheadhonach and then back around to this one. A bit of a pull back up but great views. I wasn't going to do this one earlier when it was in cloud but when it came out I liked the look of it and did enjoy the views from here.meltdiceburg10/07/2021

To pt 931, Beinn Dearg, pt 973, Beinn Gharbh, Elrig'ic an Toisich, a long stretch of contouring, taking advantage of dry conditions, to Beinn a'Chait and back by the track above the rifle range.
