From Corgarff castle car park - I should have had my bike with me but this was an extra walk I slipped in having managed two walks in day on the 24th. An easy walk in along the surfaced road and then a comfortable round of Cairn Culchavie, Meikle Geal Charn and Carn Ulie to the south (not named on map) before heading NNe over the col and back to the track and road. Very easy walking all way.dickscroop25/08/2017

Cairngorm Club bus meet to Cock Bridge. With a fellow member. We walked to Delnadamph Lodge and Inchmore. We continued up track in glen of Meoir Veannaich, and then ~S to summit of Meikle Geal Charn. The wind was now very strong. There was soft snow lower down – hard and icy on summit areas, We continued over Cairn Sawvie and Brown Cow Hill, descending NE to reach starting point. I was blown over by wind near summit of Brown Cow Hill and strained right ankle.pwbellarby13/03/1994
