A pretty bad day with lots of deep soft snow. I didn't get back to Kingussie till 18:37, 2 hours 23 min after sunset. However, I wasn't the last down as I passed two men at about 740m when they stopped to put their headtorches on. | Alan Moore | 19/01/2024 |
5th Simm of the day after Geal Charn then back to Kingussie by the landrover track. 20k in total. | NormanW | 07/11/2023 |
Followed fenceline from Bruach nan Imirichean. In clag. | 187lenny | 17/09/2023 |
Circuit of Glen Gynack from Kingussie. Followed track up Glen Gynack and fior short distance up W side of Allt Mor, then headed W up hillside to near beallach and short climb to Creag Mhor. Continued to Creag Dhubh, Carn Coire na h-Inghinn, Geal Charn, Carn a' Bhothain Mholaich and Carn an Fhreiceadain. Easy walking on track to Beinn Bhreac then descent (steep at end) and climb to Meall a' Chocaire. Continued S and climbed Creag Bhalg. Returned via track running roughly SW (path marked on map disappeared near golf course). | RobertP | 01/06/2023 |
Took large rock just away from fence to be the summit then went across to the corbett - long, wet and haggy on the descent. No view as cloud was in. | Trantham Clan | 21/05/2023 |

With Rod, Grant and John to Carn an Fhreiceadain up west path. Then split and Rod and I went cross country to pick up the Munroes on repeat (second for Rod, fourth for me). Grant picked us up at the car park. | SS | 05/06/2022 |
From the Balavil Hotel using track by Allt na Beinne. | richtea5040 | 05/03/2022 |
5/9 Creag Mhor, Creag Dhubh, Carn Coire na h Inghinn, Geal Charn, Carn a Bhothian Mholaich, Bruach nan Imirichean, Carn Sgulain, Carn An Fhreiceadain and Beinn Bhreac. Tough Climb first, then easier walking along old and established fence lines right out into the moors then back on good tracks for the Corbett and down on tracks over Beinn Bhreac making the last miles easier. So remote out there! | nickywood1 | 07/07/2021 |
