From Garva Bridge - up the Allt Coire Iain Oig for a couple of km, then strolling NE onto the ridge of Leathad Gaothach. Hard going in soft snow, particularly between LG and Meall na h-Aisre. Stunning views. Decided that the new wind farm track would make for a far pleasanter descent than soft snow then bogs, so descended W from summit of Aisre to meet it and followed back to Garva Bridge. 15.5km, 4h 10Rockdoctor31/12/2023
From Garva Bridge, walked along tracks on W side of Allt Coire Iain Oig past the woodland blocks, then briefly NW from the N corner (NN517978) to join the windfarm road, followed that up to its end at 800m, then ATV tracks to summit of Meall na h-Aisre, continued with ATV tracks ESE, turning SSE to col and up to Leathad Gaothach summit, tracks continued roughly S down to confluence of Allt Coire Iain Oig and Fèith Talagain, crossing the former at a ford, rejoining outward route and back to start (4h25m)kdbennett20/05/2023
On TGO Challenge, after Gairbeinn and Meall na h-Aisre. I meant to continue to Carn Fhraoch but had to bail off because of deteriorating weather, very frustratingColin Crawford17/05/2023
A nice top. The bridge at NN 552 958 still exists and looks as though it will be around for many years to come.Alan Moore09/01/2023

From tent at head of valley above Loch Killin. Nice camping spot, biked in Route now dominated by the wind farm but tracks not a lot of help, they don't go the right way! Up the valley to SW on a decent track, stay to higher option left over two nice bridges at the fork and then across country through the wind far, using one useful bit of track abd on to Meall na h-Aisre(C); Se to Leathad Gaothach(Ct), then east over Creag an Dearg Lochan(Ct); Carn Fraoich(Ct) and back down the Chalybeate Spring - not easy to find but it is there. Back down the good track.dickscroop17/06/2021
