YES! Winter Cuillin Ridge traverse complete after 3 days and 2 bivis on the ridge with Martin Sluce. An adventure like few others and a privilege to have caught the ridge in excellent winter conditions. But now the weather had turned nasty -wind and cloud and now in the dark at 5pm. 2 and half awakward hours to descend to Corruisk, and then began tramping the 7 miles back to the car at Sligachan. Exhausted - bivi'd half way on the heather in pouring rain (thank goodness for goretex bivi bags)I slept right through -awoke slightly soggy -walked out -rang work in Sheffield to 'request' an extra days leave and had a slap up breakfast at the Broadford Hotel as their only guests.Chris Pearson18/02/1991
