From Clip with Degsy. 3rd Dewey of the day from parking at 683335. Headed north to Moel y Gyrafolen.bolton21/04/2021
What a stunning spot. From North, lots of up and down but nowhere all that taxing. Just a bit of keeping your wits about you and eyes open. The view over to Craig Wion from here is really interesting the hillside almost looks terraced from the ice.stig_nest17/04/2021

A splendid walk / scramble across the rocky, magical outcrops of the northern Rhinogs. Parked at the car park at Cwm Bychan SH 645 314. Bagged 5 splendid Deweys, including Clip, Craig Ddrwg, Craig Wion, Moel Morwynion & Rhinog Fawr North Top (my 200th Dewey!). Also Moel Morwynion NE & SW Tops en route. Returned via the Roman Steps. Definitely a walk for a fine dry sunny day as this was, could be a navigational nightmare in the mist! 13.1km with 1600m ascent in 6 hours. (S)silveracorn_alan18/09/2020
Seven 5-600m summits between Trawsfynydd & Cwm Bychan with Rufus. Parked SH 68357 33605 off-road at quarry and walked towards Cefn Clawdd, track on right just before farm until small plantation then direct to gate and stile in NE corner of wall. Quick out and back to Moel y Gyrafolen then high ground over the tops to Clip. Return via Bwlch Gwylim and track down depression then increasingly boggy path/ROW NE/E to road again. Great hills, some tricky descents with the dog, sometimes taking big detours to avoid descending steep grit outcrops.jacobrichmond10/08/2020
Done after the N top, before heading to the oddly named Clip. Saw our first people of the day.DanMaisieBex13/07/2019

Parked on roadside to east (south of Ffridd Lwyd forest. Squelchy approach to pass. Easy ascent of Clip and Craig Ddrwg. Then nightmare navigating in dense cloud and constant rain. Corn-y-stwc, Moel Ysgyfarnogod south top, Moel Ysgyfarnogod, Foel Penolau (both tops) then time and weather demanded descent without continuing to Moel y Gyrafolen. Easy but squelchy descent from gate in wall just norht east of Foel Penolau.ijpowell04/10/2013
