Parked on the campsite at top of Llyn Bychan. Turned R at gate and then L at side of building (signed To Clip). Through two gates and then path disappears.Climbed up to path running NE towards Clip. All bracken and heather. Followed path to stile and col between Clip and Craig Wion then L and up to a further stile. Over this and up to col between Clip and Craig Ddrwg. Turned L and up to top of Clip. Returned to col and crossed over to Craig Ddrwg. Back to col and back down to col between Clip and Crain Wion. Down path back to Llyn Bychan. Lost path on way down. Really bad finish to walk. Quite wet on path to col between Clip and Craig Wion.MikeM10/08/2017
Circular from Cwm Bychan to Clip, Craig Ddrwg, Craig Wyion, Moel Morwynion, Craig Llyn Du. Perfect weather for it and a reasonable 'path' most of the way.Neolith17/06/2017

Parked on roadside to east (south of Ffridd Lwyd forest. Squelchy approach to pass. Easy ascent of Clip and Craig Ddrwg. Then nightmare navigating in dense cloud and constant rain. Corn-y-stwc, Moel Ysgyfarnogod south top, Moel Ysgyfarnogod, Foel Penolau (both tops) then time and weather demanded descent without continuing to Moel y Gyrafolen. Easy but squelchy descent from gate in wall just norht east of Foel Penolau.ijpowell04/10/2013

Same as AW and DP - on CUHWC Easter trip, in a March heatwave and glorious sunshine. Mostly very rough and slow going, but fascinating terrain and a real sense of exploration. Advice: go back to Craig Ddrwg before attempting to descend towards Craig Wion!Mark Jackson24/03/2012
