Parked at the Glaslyn access gate then along track to Bugeilyn. Continued along track across Tarren Bwlch-gwyn to Clipyn Du. By far the easiest part of the walk as it was then wet and rough terrain to capture the four tops of Carn Hyddgen, Foel Uchaf, Foel Isaf and Llechwedd Crin. Sloshed up Banc Bugeilyn for good measure before retreating to the van for succour, tea and biccies.summitter30/08/2023
From Maesnant. Track NE and bridge then track N. After Nant y Garn stream headed NE then E on grass. ATV track above 450m to col east of croessau hyddgen. On towards Foel Uchaf on sheep track then up grass after fence crossing to reach FU summit cairn. Returned via same route and took in Carn Hyddgen on the way.Moorponder27/06/2022
3/11 I roughly followed GB's route from the cattle grid at 837952 bagging 7 Deweys and small detours to get 4 nearby minor peaks. Visited Clipyn Du, Mawnog, Carn Hyddgen, Foel Uchaf, Foel Isaf, Llechwedd Crin, Banc Bugeilyn, Esgair Greolen, Bryn yr Wyn, Foel Fadian, and finishing with Bryn y Fedwen. Some tough pathless sections, but also some quick bits with cart and quad bike tracks. Splendid views! A total distance of 27.5km with 980m ascent in 8.5 hours.silveracorn_alan09/04/2022

3/7 - cold wet and strong wind - quite a trek across rough boggy ground, then an improving path along the valley - couldn't locate a path up hillside to the summitwychwood13/12/2019

Started with Clipyn Du & continued to Carn Hyddgen, Foel Uchaf, Banc Bugeilyn, Esgair Greolen, Foel Fadian & Bryn y Fedwen. From the cattle grid 837952. I did a round of Lllechwedd Crin, Foel Isaf, Foel Uchaf, Carn Hyddgen, Clipyn Du and Mawnog. Over five hours but the pathless bits were not too bad underfoot.clivevilla17/08/2016
Parked near lane-end before Maesnant (SN 77321 87851) - room for 4-5 cars. Took stony track NNW, fording river (would be tricky in spate - but bridge 100m upstream) to take track north up Cwm Hyddgen. Then climbed slopes east to summit cairns. Walk continued to Foel Uchaf. GMC walk from Glaslynmike.hoult20/10/2013
From track junction at 783 911. Done at noon on blistering day, having done 7 already, madness. Unsure if there is a path the entire length southwards down the ridge to the river crossing, be nice if there was. NOTE - later discovered this was the hot day when the SAS recruits died on Pen y Fan.dicky13/07/2013
