From ESE, verge parking just north of road summit. FP not marked but followed through fields via a number of gates and up to trig, which currently had a one wheeled trailer perched on it. Not sure why? Good views on clear day as sun setting.PeterD14/02/2023
Good Parking at mast at SN 985 702 then up road to ROW to summit.dgresty14/03/2022

As jonglew: Roadside parking at SO 0042 7253. Farm track most of the way. BWF into summit field can be avoided if you stay on the track to a gate.PGCE24/07/2021
Followed track from high point on the B4518, joining the RoW after half a mile. 6 gates - 3 to open, 2 open and 1 to climb. Ascended a white hill, descended a green one - such was the rapidity of the thaw. Superb all round views.Rob Rees23/01/2021
park so 00429 72531 easy tracks but not ROW so sharpish 3ks good views across elanunderhill09/12/2020
Roadside parking at SO 0042 7253. Farm tracks to summit.jonglew28/09/2020
From Mast to SW. straightforward walk through sheep pasture, a few gates wired up but easy enough to hop over.rhalstead26/07/2020
From SO 004 725 using the farm track (not RoW). 3km with 160m ascent in 50mins there and back. (S)silveracorn_alan24/07/2020
Circular walk from Cwmhirrichardrosser09/03/2020
Came up from east - not the best way. Nice top and trig point to welcome us. Went down to the north via track to reach the road - a better route.Father Ted09/03/2020
Cold clear day - easy walk in from the SWwychwood01/12/2019
From the bend in the road at SO004725Jim.Fothergill30/08/2019
From Gamallt in the west. Nice easy going to the top. Nice views. Down east to the yellow road. There are no problems when the ROW ends, as there are no fences to cross and the farm at Park is a ruin.Alan Moore04/01/2019
Second ascent, apparently. Easy walk over sheep pasture and Row to SW. Trig on top with nice wild views in breezy sun. Parked by mast.Denise 31/08/2018
From the busy B4518 through field of sheep pasture. Little indication of the RoW on the ground. Fine views.RichardM31/08/2018
Parked at 00431 72517 for this Dewey, a two mile walk taking around three quarters of an hour. Follow track all the way to a gate this will eliminate the need to jump the barbed wired to reach the trig. One for a nice evening stroll.WAYNE ROWLETT26/08/2018
From 004725 (good parking for ~4 cars), using the track via Banc Gwyn to summit. There is a gate where it is on the ROW- this leads to the summit pasture. We thought it a pleasant hill, isolated from other nearby hills. The route isn't a ROW but from the descriptions of the ROW, it seems though it was much easier to negotiate. With brother, Pete. Sunny with views from Arans to Carmarthen Fanpwheeler05/05/2018
Parked at side of wide entrance with double gates at 786707. Up road & then took track towards Hengwm. At 990709 turned left & followed RoW up ridge to trig point; 5 farm gates conveniently placed. (S)gerrybowes04/10/2017

As for most people parked at mast to west and then up track. Unlike marktrengove I thought it as an excellent Dewey but then we had a clear frosty day with large patches of snow.Rob Pen y Garn02/02/2015

Parked at mast, then returned to ROW and followed to near summit. Excellent views in the hour between showers.SS26/04/2014
Parked to W and started off along Hengwm track, then kept to ridge and gates tended to appear when needed. The 1:25000 map was useful but there were no ROW markings whatsoever!Chris Peart31/12/2013
From the north. Less than a mile to the top on a track. Barbed wire fence right before the trig.clivevilla02/02/2013
Parked to west and followed track towards Hengwm. Missed left hand track at SN990709. This takes you through several gates to summit trig. I found it easily on way down.chriswatson19/11/2012
Fifth HuMP of the day with Phil Cooper in the mist but at least we are south of the rain now.Dugswell216/11/2012
Space for 2 cars on W side of B4518 nr start of track, at SO986704. Took unmarked ROW through mudslimey sheep pasture to summit in mizzle. Got mud covered in descent as v.slippy. Possibly the most aweful&boring Welsh Dewey!Man of Kernow131/12/2011
On very narrow road to park at the start of a bridal track. Onto sheep pastures on a green track over one BWF to column 10336 at 9.10. OS plaques in English and Welsh.arranc29/09/2011
Used the farm track from the east. Cows and calves.Martin R06/08/2011
Parked at the road to the north. just managed to sqeeze the car in by farmers gate.follow the ridge right to the topDARRENG27/06/2011
As SH. Its the left hand gate. Path very indistinct but keep the fence/hedge and track on your right for about 600m then you see a gate on 'horizon' in a pasture field at about 700m. Aim for the gate then more gates to top. Wide open pasture. Pleasant.destaylor15/04/2011
Start ~ 986707. Out and back using R o W, lots of Welsh rain. With Wombourne.steve hudson10/06/2009
Easy climb on a track and then a single fence in the way of the trigRhayader_wander24/03/2005
