C Pitridh, G Carn and a’Chlachair in that order from Luiblea. Clag lifted quickly and all tops clear for me. Snell wind from SW (forecast said would feel like -5C w wind chill), lowering, racing cloud, occasional splashes of sunshine. Showers on descent, rainbows. Met large group (14) on G Carn. | Rounsfell | 13/10/2022 |

Accessed form the A86 at Luiblea. I cycled up to Lochan na h-Earba, then up the stalkers path to Geal Charn (1049m), then across to Creag Pitridh (924m), the descent from which was very boggy.
It was clear blue skies all day, 6 hours all in. | chillyman8 | 31/12/2019 |
Beinn a'Chlachair | mproudfoot | 09/11/2019 |
Clockwise circuit Creag Pitridh, Geal Charn, Sron Garbh, Beinn a'Chlachair. Steep ascent on west side Belach Leamhain. If choose anti-clockwise circuit this would be a descent - there is a cairn at NN 49058 79504 marking the start of the descent. Nothing difficult. | carole engel | 24/09/2019 |
Fine Munro round with Peter on a perfect still September day. | nix_snilloc | 07/09/2019 |
From lay-by on A86 west of Loch Laggan (NN 43299 83044). South across River Spean bridge then followed excellent Land-Rover track as far as Lochan na h-Earba then good path up to Bealach Leamhain. North on good but wet path before striking NE on intermittent grassy/stony path to the summit of Geal Charn. Down to boggy col between this and Creag Pitridh before clear, easy path to the summit. Southwest on intermittent grassy/boggy path to re-join the outward route back to the start. | david230201 | 22/08/2019 |
Circuit of Beinn a'Chlachair, its East Top, Geal Charn, Sron Garbh and Creag Pitridh from Moy Bridge . Outstanding views in all directions. Got so absorbed in watching two roe deer at quite close quarters that I fell into a hole between tussocks on the descent from Pitridh. Then, while resting on the sandy beach of Lochan na h-Earba, the wind switched direction and sand-blasted me with stinging quartzite granules... | Nick Down1 | 23/06/2019 |
Parked at Moy. Long walk past Lachan na Hearba. Long ridge to Beinn a Chlachair, then Geal Charn and Creag Pitridh. Long walk back in the dark. Remember bike next time! | jigglybones | 21/02/2019 |

Great if quite a long day . Climbed with A and D. Took the long way up Beinn a Chlachiar (walked all the way up to the col) and would have been more entertaining to go up the obvious shoulder, Great weather and view though. 3 hours to first top and 5.15 and 6.00 to the other two. Biking in and out would have made some sense. Beinn a Chlachiar is the best hill with grand views | slynch | 04/07/2009 |

With Shaky from Loch Laggan. Misty, but unlike the navigational mess made on Clachair some years earlier, this time compasses as well as maps were in evidence. The usual route to the col between Geal Charn & Creag Pitridh. Geal Charn & Sron Garbh first, then back across the col to Pitridh. Dropped SW for a more direct route back. With friends. Parked at NN432830. Along tracks to Lochan na H-Earba. Followed snow covered path beside Allt Coire Pitridh to ~730m. Very strong wind and very misty now. Followed compass bearings to minor top WSW of summit of Geal Charn (1049m). Looked for cairn. Realised we were on the minor top so followed bearing to trig point, found after a little searching. We had a little to eat at the cairn next to the trig point. Snow conditions were good with a lot of hardish snow/ice. Continued to Creag Pitridh. | pwbellarby | 17/03/1996 |
Monday, CRMC, Ardverikie estate. Cloud above 800m. with George, hard work snow, many times leg disappearing into holes. Cloud has thickened and hard to distinguish rising ground more than a few feet ahead.Eventually trig has incredible ice formations sticking out horizantally from it's NE side. careful bearing for Creag pitridh beallach unfortunately don't estimate how far or pace it out. Change bearing too soon, worry about black craggy marks shown on map. unnerving being unable to see more that a few feet, inching gingerly forwards, front half of boot print fell away, step backwards sharply, then leftwards. Finally find beallach, slight thinning of cloud. Difficult route finding as we come across a steepish east face. Contour SW up a shoulder, all of a sudden we at summit only 105m from beallach. Once out of the cloud see much lower than earlier, much darker in colour. Half hour along loch side and back at the car which has saved us a further miles walk. | vegibagger | 12/02/1996 |

Final Munro on a 40th birthday round of Beinn a'Chlachair, Creag Pitridh and Geal Charn with my brother, Pete. From Creag Pitridh, down to the col, then up Geal Charn. We inspected its fine N corrie then descended SE with views over its E corrie. Another descent made easy as this area is heavily grazed. Indeed, we came across a herd of ~150 Red Deer after we had joined the paths back to Culra. Cloud above the tops all day we were up high. | pwheeler | 26/05/1994 |
