Across from Great Links Tor. Boggy near the ruin when you come off track and the first bit of marked ‘path’ return to track via other path slightly to south of marker posts. Good views.PeterD16/08/2023
Climbed after ascending Great Links Tor. Boggy ground between the two.RVC25/07/2023
From Dartmoor Inn. Back over Great Links Tor.chrisbien11/07/2022
From Great Links Tor. We made hard work of it, being enticed by a path just S of E that led us through rough ground, boggy even after a long, dry period. At last, we got onto a path and followed this to a track and ruin (SX 560871) and used a path with boardwalks across bog and white markers on posts; it's shown on LR but not EXP OS maps. Returned via bw in valley after SX 560871, higher up (SX 545861) easiest ground on well used path over Brat Tor. Good to have a decent moorland walk, added up to 8 miles in all.pwheeler14/06/2022
1/2 Dewey on circular tour of Yes Tor, High Willhays, Kitty Tor, Great Links Tor, from Meldon Reservoir car park. 19 km with 680m ascent in 5h30m. (S)silveracorn_alan02/08/2021

Parked at the large car park near the Dartmoor Inn, heading on the path in between Brat Tor and Arms Tor to reach Great links Tor where I scaled the Tor from the opposite side to the trig, continuing over to Kitty Tor, just over Six mile in Three and a half hours returning the same way.WAYNE ROWLETT30/08/2020

Run from Sourton Church up over Sourton Tor’s along the old railway to Great Links Tor. I t took me a few minutes to remember the easiest climb to the actual summit which was very easy as the only technical move is low down. I headed on to the remains of Bleak House. I remember camping by it in 1990 and it was a lot more substantial then. I took the path up to Kitty Tor. The cloud broke and it was warm in the sunshine. I headed down to Sandy Ford and then up High Willhays and Yes Tor before running back to Sourton via the top end of Meldon reservoir. For the 11 miles it took 2 hours 30 minutes. I saw Wheatear, Linnets, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Buzzard, Kestrel and Ravens.isabelle04/08/2019
From CP at end of Lane by Dartmoor Inn. First to Brat Tor, with Widgery Cross on its summit, then to Great Links Tor (which I failed to climb, only reaching the trig point), then by the line of the old Rattlebrook peat railway to Kitty Tor and Amicombe Hill, with a military range marker pole on its summit. Back by the rack below Great Links Tor.Nick Down116/07/2019
From Great Links Tor. Left the ladder on the track to the NE, taking the marked trail up to the summit from the ruin. Returned for the ladder, descending to Lydford around the flanks of Great Links Tor to pick up the outward route. With ATMan of Kernow107/04/2019

On a high after GLT so jogged a boggy route to track and boggy bit at the col to capture another Dewey while Ian Brown returned to the car.Dugswell223/08/2014
There is a direct, easy to follow path between Great Links and this summit, however you join it to the north of GLT. This means you effectively travel in the wrong direction to start with. A direct line soon peters out into tussocky grass and bog.moorsman20/08/2014
Parked at Meldon reservoir CP. Across dam w Jenx. Direct then up Yes Tor avoiding top of the drainage line to NW. Onto High Willays, then to Kitty Tor, Great Links Tor trig and scramble up crack to summit! - trig finish on Sourton Tors. Back down track to West of Meldon to CPnordicstar15/05/2014

6 days climbing trip (having just finished my PGCE day before) -to the SW with Bob Dileu. Carried the climbing gear up to Great Links Tor for Bob to lead the Great Flake - VS4c- on the summit tor.
